He prefers waffles over pancakes, especially if accompanied by fried chicken. Joe leads the church with a missional heart and scriptural knowledge. He wants to welcome you to attend a service and see for yourself what it looks like to “Love all, learn together, live in Christ”. |
ALYSSA FULLING
Pastor to Families & Children Alyssa grew up in Olathe, KS, and received her B.A. in Intercultural Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University. She loves to teach her kids the truth found in Romans 12:2, and her biggest goal is to equip kids and their families with tools to grow in their faith during all seasons of life. Her favorite bath toy as a kid was a Route 66 cup from the Quik Trip gas station, and if she had the chance she’d tell her younger self, “Jogging is good for you. Ice Cream, not so much, but ice cream will make you happier faster.” Alyssa says, “The church challenged me in my beliefs and in my relationship with others and overall helped me grow and mature as a person. It believed in me and gave me opportunities and showed me the love of God." |
TIMOTHY WALKER
Director of Discipleship Tim comes to Camas from Madison, AL. For Tim, a cross country move was a breeze since he lived in the windy city of Chicago, where he got his B.A in Bible and Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute. His favorite verse is Lamentations 3:24, and his biggest goal in his position is to build relationships to see students come and know Jesus personally. More importantly, his answer to the question “How many goldfish do you own?” is “Not enough.”, and “How do you feel about Chihuahuas?” is “Don’t get me started.”. Tim says, “I wouldn’t be where I am without the church. I wouldn’t be doing what I love without it.” |
BETH MACHAMER Lead Pastor's Communication Assistant Beth grew up in Denver, CO and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with degrees in Business Administration and Marketing. Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 9:12, and her biggest goal in her position is to help in community outreach and draw others to Christ through Camas Church of the Nazarene. She once dressed up as Howie Mandel for Halloween (back in the days of Deal or No Deal), and doesn’t care if the TV volume ends up on an odd number. Beth says, “The church formed the person I am today, and I don’t know where or who I would be without the community around me.” |
